DESCRIPTION
The Associação da Amizade e das Artes Galego Portuguesa aims to promote artists and creators from all over the world in the categories of Painting, Drawing, Engraving, Sculpture, Tapestry, Photography, Ceramics, Stained Glass, Installation, Graphic Design, Digital Art, and other techniques, without restrictions of nationality, age, training, or religion. All participating works must be original and must not infringe third-party rights.
AAAGP invites all national and international artists to participate in the 15th International Small Format Art Salon 20x20cm, which seeks to gather the greatest possible number of works in diverse styles, techniques, and themes. Works must measure 20x20 cm (the artwork itself), and may be presented with frames or adornments, as long as the actual work maintains the required size.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
1. By September 7, 2025 send to asociacion.aaagp.pt@gmail.com your Registration Form and a photo of the work.
Please indicate the price of the work if you wish to sell it. AAAGP does not charge any commission on sales.
2. At the end of the exhibition, works will be returned together with the Certificate of Participation.
o Within Portugal, works will be returned with payment on delivery.
o For abroad, return shipping costs €15.

Each work must include: artist’s name, title of the work, and technique.

PRIZES
In this 15th edition, the selection and award jury will consist of five recognized artists.
7 Prizes will be awarded:
• 1st Prize: Gold Medal + Diploma
• 2nd Prize: Silver Medal + Diploma
• 3rd Prize: Bronze Medal + Diploma
• Honorable Mention Gold + Diploma
• Honorable Mention Silver + Diploma
• Honorable Mention Bronze + Diploma
• Popularity Award: Honorable Mention + Diploma (chosen by the public at the opening day).
Note: All participating artists will receive an Official Certificate of Participation, duly stamped and signed by the Curator and AAAGP President, Conceição Ruiva.

PROMOTION
1. Book – An A5-size book titled “15th International Small Format Art Salon 20x20cm” will be published.
o Each artist will have an individual page with a photo of their work and website.
o Each artist will receive one free copy.
o Winners of the previous Salon will also be mentioned in this edition.
2. Publicity:
o Press release for the media
o Listing in the Cultural Agenda of the Arts and Entertainment Center and Figueira da Foz Tourism
o Online marketing via art portals, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
o Facebook pages: Arte Galego Portuguesa, Pequeno só no Formato, Sócios e amigos da AAAGP

3. Opening on October 18 at 3:00 PM, at the AAAGP Gallery.

NOTES
• AAAGP is not responsible for damages, losses, theft, or unforeseen situations during transport or storage.
• Any material or financial benefit from sales belongs entirely to the artist.
• In case of withdrawal, fees are non-refundable, except in justified situations (with documentation). Even then, 30% of the fee will be retained to cover organizational expenses.
• Works that require a hanging system on the back will be charged €5, as the association must outsource this service.
• The organization reserves the right to decide on unforeseen or omitted cases in this regulation.
